Health & safety
Everyone goes home safe.
Safety on an Everstrong site starts before the first trade arrives — and in an occupied school or care home, it covers the people who never leave the building.
Overview
ISO 45001 certification
Underway, expected January 2027. Under O. Reg. 364/25, in force January 1, 2026, Ontario public owners must treat ISO 45001 and COR 2020 as equivalent in construction procurement.
A documented program on every site
Everstrong's safety program is documented and maintained on every project, not kept in a binder at the office.
Every trade oriented
The site superintendent runs a safety orientation for every trade before they start work, and site separation is set up at mobilization.
Occupied buildings kept safe
Schools, care homes and municipal buildings stay open while we build: life safety maintained, containment and air monitoring where the work calls for it, and the operator kept in the loop every day.
Led from operations
Safety sits with the VP Operations, who runs the superintendents, the equipment fleet and resourcing across every site.
WSIB
Clearance certificate on file.
For owners and sub-trades
Safety documents for your tender or your trade.
Owners: ask for our safety program and WSIB clearance with your tender. Sub-trades: site rules and orientation are covered by the project team before you start.
