How a build stays on course.

Not by promising a heroic schedule. By keeping owners, architects and sub-trades informed, solving clashes on paper first, and owning the parts of the critical path most general contractors rent.

Delivery models

Four ways to contract the work. Choose the one that fits the project and the owner.

General contracting

Stipulated-price delivery under CCDC contracts for public tenders. One superintendent, one schedule, one reporting line from owner to sub-trade.

Construction management

For owners who want Everstrong's site discipline earlier: budget, sequencing and trade procurement advice from design development onward.

How it works →

Design-build

One contract, design to occupancy: Everstrong carries the design team and the build under a single point of accountability.

Occupied & phased renovation

Three-year phased abatement and renovation of Shepherd Manor with residents in place. Containment, air monitoring and communication run alongside the build.

Planning & reporting

Before mobilization and through to project close out.

Pre-construction

Constructability review with the architect before mobilization. Long-lead mechanical, structural and envelope packages ordered against tender drawings. Clashes solved on paper.

Project reporting

Owners and architects stay informed through the build: progress, schedule and budget reported clearly, so there are no surprises at substantial performance. Regular updates, constant communication, one clear point of contact.

Site capability

What Everstrong owns and does itself on site.

Owned heavy equipment

A wholly-owned excavation and sitework fleet. Wet springs and frozen ground move on Everstrong's calendar — as on Anne J. MacArthur's spring site preparation.

Winter construction

Footings and foundations poured through January and February under heat and hoarding — 2,500 lineal feet at Dixie Center.

LEED delivery

Documentation, commissioning and material sourcing coordinated to certification. Mississauga Fire Station 119 and Peel Paramedic S11: LEED Gold track.

From tender to project close out

  1. Tender & bid

Documents reviewed, sub-trades invited by division, site meetings attended, and a complete, compliant bid in on time.

  2. Mobilize & build

Sitework on our own equipment, long-lead items already ordered, regular owner and consultant reporting.

  3. Project close out

Deficiency lists run from structure onward so project close out is a planned stage, not a negotiation at the end. Owners decide what moves from restricted to public at close out.
